Although, from a bird's (or map) view, Ibiza seems small, it really is very varied. There is the rural part, with its whitewashed villages; the most lively one with its endless evenings and the most peaceful one with plans for those who seek to surround themselves with the Mediterranean. This is the municipality of Santa Eulalia del Río (Santa Eulària des Riu) and its entire coast, an area located in the southeast of the island full of almost secret turquoise coves, small cliffs and irresistible crystal clear waters. And these are the most outstanding.

      CALA DE SANT VICENT

Located at the eastern end of Ibiza, this beach seems to be designed for all travelers. Peace-seekers have nearly 400 meters of sand that allow them to sunbathe without disturbances. Those who want comfort will find a fully equipped space with parking, hammocks and restaurants. And for those who simply want to enjoy water in a thousand ways, their different Paddle Surf, kayaking and skate facilities means a day at the beach becomes a fun adventure. Oh! And for those who are looking for their first dive, the different schools in the surrounding area offer baptisms in crystal clear waters full of life.

      CALA DE S'AIGUA BLANCA

And suddenly, when it seems that everything is cliffs in the northwestern confines of the island, the sand comes out of the rock and spreads out like a carpet caressed by an amazing sea. Because, in this wild corner of Ibiza, the sea is immaculate and photogenic, which has always made it a natural object of desire for any beach lover. In addition, the clay that collects in its rocks, mixed with water, forms a mud that serves as a tonic for both the skin and hair.

      CALA LLONGA

In a way, this long sandy area is a kind of oasis between pine trees and hills. It is a inlet of a very blue sea that goes deep into the land, calmly, and ends on a comfortable and very well equipped sandy beach. It is perfect for families and groups for its peace of mind and good accessibility, but it also has areas of less crowded stone areas and where that sense of being isolated accentuates, something that in Ibiza is always a treasure.

      ES CANAR BEACH

Es Canar could be defined as a mini Marbella. Within the peace that is felt in these parts, it is the most lively beach in the municipality, with numerous bars, restaurants and beach bars flanking a generous promenade. Its charming port of small boats accentuates this feeling of exclusivity while its shore is calm, not very steep and with very well-kept sand. Also, on Wednesdays, one of the most authentic hippie markets on the island takes place.

      CALA LLENYA

There are coves that seem to be made for spending the whole day with water at your waist, taking a water walk or playing beach paddle tennis while soaking. And one of them is Cala Llenya, a 60-meter wide paradise where you have to go deep into the water to be covered. This advantage has made it one of the most popular in this area, which is not at odds with keeping its unspoiled spot, with cliffs and pine groves on the flanks to look for shade before returning to the sea.

      CALA MASTELLA

What defines this wild cove is not so much its waters (unpolluted, of course) or its accessibility. It is, above all, an unspoiled environment that shows what the most natural Ibiza is like, with nice rocks that submerge with subtlety, pines that seem to appear to find their reflection in the water and a reed bed that separates the stream from the sandbank. Its remote character can also be seen in its only beach bar, el Bigotes, one of the most mythical and authentic of the whole archipelago.

      PLAYA DE S'ARGAMASSA

Off this coast is only vastness. And, on the clearest days, you can see Formentera behind the islets of Santa Eulalia and Rodona. Despite being in the most prestigious hotel area of this town, S'Argamassa retains its unspoiled charm, with pine trees behind it and sand that seems to be freshly laid. Here the days pass between soaking, hours of sunshine and small tributes in SeaSoul Santa Eulalia, a unique space from which to enjoy a stunning maritime landscape, a gastronomic menu and drinks at the standard of the best restaurants on the island.

      CALA NOVA

A small gap that is bridged by means of practical and photogenic wooden steps, separates this long sandy area from the rest of the island. A geographical barrier that is not physical, but that adds more charm to a beach that has everything: turquoise waters, green pines and a certain spaciousness that allows you to feel comfortable. Also, when the wind blows, it usually generates a few waves that add a more fun touch to the long soaks.
